Founded in 2016, Colonial Films is an independent production house that offers end-to-end film production services. Over the years, we've had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest brands, agencies, and talented filmmakers from around the world. At our core, we're people who simply love making films. We enjoy telling stories that connect with people—whether they make you smile, think, laugh, or feel something. What sets us apart is the way we work. We believe that every project, big or small, deserves the same level of care, attention, and commitment. We don't just focus on delivering a film; we focus on making the entire process smooth, collaborative, and enjoyable for everyone involved. We also believe that good work comes from good relationships. Over the years, we've built lasting partnerships with our clients, agencies, directors, artists, and crew members. When Pintu Mishra set out of Allahabad almost fifteen years ago, he didn't have the slightest idea that one day he would be sitting in the Producer's chair and delegating work to a unit of 100+ people. And it all happened to him so soon because not only is he a courageous dreamer but also the most hard-working and focused person on any set. Over the years, he has garnered impeccable management skills to facilitate the most organised and detailed pre-production to hand over to the Director the shooting floor without any compromise for him to prosper. And then follow it up with the latest technology in terms of post-production support and work. He is such a people person, and it is due to his various connections that he is famous for delivering any product, however complicated or time-consuming, within the stipulated time frame and without any compromise on quality.
Born in Delhi, post-graduated in Journalism. He started his career by producing TV & REALITY shows for some of the big companies like PTC Network, Big Synergy, Endemol & Blue Mangoes. Moved to Mumbai in 2010 to explore the city of dreams. The 35 years old has experience of over 13 years and was heading the films department of Law & Kenneth Saatchi & Saatchi, India for 9 years handling brands like Renault India, Hero MotoCorp, P&G, Pepperfry, Porsche, Jockey, Emirates, Google India, Reliance Digital & Dabur to name a few. Vijay’s long exposure at the agency gave him an edge to understand the pulse of both the AGENCY and the CLIENT. And having worked on various brands nationally & internationally, he is forever curious & tries to bring nuanced experience to the table in everything he does.
His passion for creativity lies in the fact that the only grudge he has against anybody is himself. He is always on the go, learning from each experience & making efforts to do better than his last.

Alisha D'Souza brings a strong blend of agency, production, and international experience to her role as Producer at Colonial Films. She previously worked as an Agency Producer at DDB Mudra, managing end-to-end production for leading Indian and global brands, and later as a Business Manager at Publicis Groupe Hungary, overseeing creative and production projects for Nestlé across multiple markets. With a keen understanding of production from concept to execution, Alisha works closely with directors, agencies, clients, and creative teams to deliver impactful campaigns. Known for her collaborative approach, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset, she combines strategic thinking with seamless execution to bring creative ideas to life.
Dhaval Shah is an experienced Accounts Professional with over 9 years of expertise in accounting, finance, taxation, and compliance. He has a strong understanding of financial operations and is committed to maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in every aspect of accounting.
